Home port of our tugs is the Port of Emden. Being the most westerly port of Germany the Port of Emden is an important place for handling cargoes of various kinds.
The population of the city of Emden is approximately 50.000.

The harbour facilities of the Port of Emden are divided in an outer-harbour-area which is open to the sea and in an non-tidal inner-harbour-area to be reached through two efficient sea locks. In the inner-harbour-area there is situated a large free port area.

The Port of Emden has several berths with RoRo-ramps, a container terminal and all different kinds of cranes and facilities for cargo handling. Most of the berths have a railway connection.
The town offers all facilities to be expected in a major port. Several enterprises offer logistical services and high efficient capacities for loading and unloading seagoing vessels. Modern shipyards are situated in the Port of Emden. Main cargoes handled in the Port of Emden are motor vehicles, forest products, liquid chalks and slurry, building materials, LPG, containers and all kinds of bulk and general cargo.
